HMU Fam!
It has been a while since we have last updated everyone with the latest going on behind the scenes. We figured today would be a great day to catch up with you all with the announcement of some pretty big additions to HMU…
Screenshare is officially here! HMU users can now share their screen with IRL friends, or ones they meet on HMU! So whether you want everyone to watch your 1v1, are showing off a new easter egg you found, or are just hanging out, screenshare can be used in countless ways!
To recap our most recent media updates, we have brought everyone three main features in the past couple months that many of you have already started enjoying yourselves:
- Screenshare: Allows users to share their screen with everyone that is currently in the room.
- Youtube: Allows the host of a room to choose from ANY Youtube video and show it to the rest of the room. Each user can control the video volume and can suggest videos for the host to choose from.
- Twitch: Users can watch ANY live stream from their favorite twitch streamers. Similar to Youtube, the host chooses the stream to watch, yet each user in the room can control their own volume of the the stream and can suggest new streams for the host to choose from.
All of these awesome features are located in the ‘content’ button in each room, allowing quick access to any of the three!
This is only the very beginning of all the amazing features we are going to roll out to you all over the next several updates! We have countless things we can’t wait to add to HMU because we know how much all of our users will love it! Be patient, it will all be here before you know it 😉.
